Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Let's Go Digital
"Fujifilm introduced the FinePix S9500 on the digital camera market at a time when no other manufacturer is able to introduce a comparable high resolution digital camera like the S9500. We can easily say that every manufacturer of 8 Megapixel cameras has encountered some trouble with high ISO recordings and noise. Almost every 400 ISO image, and sometimes a 200 ISO photo is effected with noise. Our first experiences with the Fujifilm FinePix S9500 are 800 ISO images that are pretty noise-free! Blowing up a 400 ISO photo to a large format print is absolutely no problem at all. Pretty amazing..."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Digital Camera Info
"The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 has the look of a digital single lens reflex camera and almost has the feel, but its 10.7x optical zoom lens is not detachable. This digital camera aims to bridge the gap between compact cameras with ultra-zoom lenses and the growing market of low-end digital SLRs.
The Fujifilm FinePix has rich colors and does well in low light, so it certainly produces nice looking photographs."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Digital Photography Review
"the S9000 is a camera that promises much, and for the most part delivers on that promise. I think it's stretching credulity a little to suggest it's a direct competitor for an entry-level SLR system, but for many users the image quality differences will be marginal compared to the appeal of live preview and so on.
Compared to most - if not all - of its direct competitors (from the 5MP Canon S2 IS to the Panasonic FZ30) it fares much better, though it is more expensive than most of them, and doesn't have image stabilization, something the ISO 800 and 1600 options don't completely make up for, and something that can lead to camera shake at the long end of the zoom."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Trusted Reviews
"The dividing line between digital SLRs and fixed-lens cameras has been getting pretty blurred lately, with entry level SLRs getting progressively cheaper and taking on many of the easy-to-use features of snapshot cameras, while high-end fixed-lens cameras get ever more capable and sophisticated. The new FinePix S9500 from Fujifilm is the camera that finally erases that dividing line altogether, and provides the perfect choice for those who want the best of both worlds.
With the S9500 Fujifilm has produced what is unquestionably the best fixed-lens camera currently available. Its SLR-like handling and performance make it a real pleasure to use, while its amazing picture quality and fantastic versatility are matched only by its price."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Photoxels
"The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 should be at the top of your list if you are considering a prosumer level digital camera. It is absolutely no nonsense and meets all the requirements an advanced photographer would demand from such a camera. No other long zoom prosumer digital camera currently matches its low noise capability up to ISO 400."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Steve's DigiCams

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Megapixel
"The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 is one of these cameras that have been referred to as bridge cameras, filling the gap between full-fledged digital SLR and compact cameras. It has one of the best ergonomic designs available currently as its large size allows the external controls to be comfortably spaced. Moreover, the zoom ring is very fluid and makes zooming very smooth, and the combination of a high resolution electronic viewfinder and a hinged monitor imparts the camera with a great deal of flexibility when framing shots."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from PhotographyBlog
"The S9500 is the best attempt yet to fuse the advantages of compact and DSLR cameras together, but ultimately it cannot rival the entry-level DSLRs that Fujifilm is aiming at."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from Imaging Resource
"The Fujifilm FinePix S9000 makes a pretty compelling case for itself, offering an excellent 10.7x zoom lens (that extends to a very useful wide angle equivalent focal length of 28mm) and loads of resolution at a price a hundred dollars or more less than the least expensive d-SLR equipped with only a modest 3x zoom.
Control-wise, the Fuji S9000 offers a full range of exposure modes from fully automatic to fully manual, with program, aperture-priority and shutter-priority in between, as well as a good handful of useful scene modes. This is a camera that a pure novice can start with and grow into as their skills mature."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from BIOS Magazine
"Enthusiast photographers are drawn towards digital SLRs because of the image quality they offer. Certainly, a digital SLR is the definitive tool for professional photographers wishing to take stills photography. However, as DSLRs are specialist cameras, they inevitably offer less flexibility when it comes to everyday photography. The FinePix S9500 is a more than credible alternative for consumers considering an entry-level DSLR. Overall this is a camera that a pure novice can start with and grow into as their skills mature, but it doesn’t quite compete with a DSLR on speed, image quality or versatility."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from CameraLabs
"Fujifilm's FinePix S9500 Zoom is a 9 Megapixel all-in-one 'bridge' camera with a long 10.7x optical zoom lens and SLR-like styling. With its design and features, Fujifilm is clearly targeting buyers of budget digital SLRs, quoting LCD-based composition, a tilting monitor, movie mode and no concerns over dust getting on the sensor as key advantages. It's also comfortably cheaper than most budget digital SLRs."

Fuji Fujifilm FinePix S9500-S9000 review from ByteSector
"Being an SLR-like camera, this camera comes chock full of features to make your shooting experience as in-depth as possible. The most notable of these features is the 9 megapixel CCD. That puts this camera's sensor a step above most entry level DSLR cameras, which provide 8 megapixels."
