Fuji FujiFilm FinePix A345 review from Digital Camera Review
"The A345 shows how far we've come with a slim design and a weight almost as light as a helium balloon. It's a camera for novice photographers. In many cases it will be the owner's first digital camera. The $199 price point will intrigue a great many consumers. I personally found the image quality too soft for my taste. I would encourage anyone looking at this camera, but desiring the sharpest of images to look at other cameras, compare, and decide for yourself. If you can deal with a camera that possesses a slightly more complex control set, it might be worthwhile to compare the A345 to a previous year's Sony or Canon model."Digital Camera reviewed on 2005-06-20. Fuji FujiFilm FinePix A345 review from Steve's DigiCams
"the FinePix A345 offers only a "so-so" value for those wanting an inexpensive 4-megapixel digicam. It produced average results in the area of performance and image quality, and the Zoom control issue was very aggravating. However, I was pleased with its indoor portrait abilities, when you have sufficient light for its autofocus system."Digital Camera reviewed on 2005-07-15. Fuji FujiFilm FinePix A345 review from CNET Reviews
"Compact but not shirt-pocket-size, the FinePix A345 weighs just 6.3 ounces with two AA batteries and an xD-Picture Card installed. It ships with a 16MB xD-Picture Card, which can hold seven best-quality 4-megapixel photos--you can't expect to have everything in an inexpensive camera. The most obvious design compromise the A345 makes concerns the back-mounted zoom lever. In addition to being small and fragile-feeling, it doesn't stick out enough to allow a proper grip."Digital Camera reviewed on 2005-07-20. Fuji FujiFilm FinePix A345 review from DigiCam Review
"The camera is compact and is designed well - the camera feels very comfortable in my hands. The camera is compact and fits in jean pockets. The camera is easy to use, the menu system is easy to use and there is a good layout of buttons and controls - although I wasn't keen on the zoom control. There is a good choice of features and options although the nearly all are aimed at beginners, rather than experts. The camera speed is average, with an okay switch on time, okay focusing time, and average shutter response."Digital Camera reviewed on 2005-07-25. Fuji FujiFilm FinePix A345 review from Imaging Resource
"The Fuji A345 carries on the value-leading tradition of Fujifilm digital cameras by offering a 4.1-megapixel CCD and 3x optical zoom lens at a low price, including a good-sized bright LCD monitor, Pict-Bridge support, two-second maximum exposure time and four preset scene modes. As you'd expect, the Fujifilm FinePix A345 trades off a few features and capabilities to achieve its remarkably low cost, but the camera still takes good-looking pictures in daylight conditions, and is simple enough for even rank beginners to enjoy immediately.
