Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from CNET Reviews
"The Canon PowerShot SD450, a 5-megapixel update to the SD400 Digital Elph, has more in common with its 4-megapixel SD300 sibling than it does with the top-of-the-line 7-megapixel SD550. Instead of the slightly larger, curvier body found in its higher-resolution stablemate, this Elph has the same boxy, ultracompact frame as the SD300 and shares virtually every other spec except resolution. What you get for your extra money is improved image quality--and that might be enough."

Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from Steve's DigiCams
"Canon has produced yet another winning digital combination of sleek compact design, speedy performance and great image quality. With the camera taking up less space than a deck of playing cards, it can be carried in almost any size pocket or handbag. The PowerShot SD450 has an MSRP of about $399, which we feel is an excellent value when compared to similar models of its class. So if you're in the market for an extremely pocketable 5-megapixel digicam, be sure to take a look at this model."

Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from Cameras.co.uk
"The Canon IXUS 55 is an ultra compact digital camera. This type of model is often described as pocket sized as it is small enough to fit into just about any pocket you have. This is a five megapixel digital camera with a three times optical zoom lens. The IXUS 55 is aimed at anyone who is looking for a camera with a good build quality, is fairly easy to use and offers the convenience of being able to take it anywhere. It is likely to appeal more to someone who enjoys taking photos for fun rather than to a more serious photographer."

Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from Imaging Resource
"the Canon PowerShot SD450 is an excellent little pocket camera, with a full feature set, super build quality, great image quality, and the flexibility to bring back good-looking pictures from a wide range of shooting situations. Its tiny case is sleek and sophisticated, and travels easily, although we do recommend a small hard case for it, to avoid damage if you bump against something with the camera in your pocket."

Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from Photobird
"It's amazing how small this camera is. And yet it performs extremely well. I carried the camera around with me in my pocket for the past few weeks and I'd often forget that I had it with me. I'd come across a photogenic scene, wish I had a camera with me, reach into my pocket, past my keys, tissue, lint, and finally find the camera."

Canon PowerShot SD450 - IXUS 55 review from DP Review
"Essentially a fairly minor upgrade to the popular SD400 (Ixus 50), the SD450 incorporates two UA (Ultra-high Refractive Index Glass Molded (GMo) Aspherical lens) elements which has allowed Canon to produced its smallest cameras yet to feature a 3x zoom. New features include a larger 'wide viewing angle' 2.5-inch monitor, a direct access ISO button, a nifty orientation sensor that rotates the display of images as you turn the camera round in playback mode and some fancy playback effects."
